Do You Move Unique or Very Large Items?

Yes! We move almost all items. Be sure to let your Moorish Movers representative know ahead of time in case it requires a third mover or special equipment.

How Do You Take Care of Fragile Items/Antiques?

It’s our mission to move your belongings safely and securely. To ensure your items are moved unharmed, we carefully pad and shrink wrap them.

Can You Pack My Stuff or Does It Have To Be Packed?

We are happy to pack your stuff! Be sure to tell us prior to the move to ensure efficiency. To minimize costs, customers have the option to pack their belongings.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We take nearly everything–cash, bank check, certified check, business check, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex. The only form of payment we will not accept is a personal check, and credit card payments are assessed with a 3% convenience fee.

When Are Payments Collected?

For our storage services, payments must be paid before your belongings leave our warehouse.

For moving jobs, there is a $100 deposit paid up front, and the remaining balance from the estimate must be paid before we unload the truck. Any additional costs incurred will be paid at the end of the job, and if the estimate is lower you will be refunded the difference.

How Do I Get Started?

When you contact us, one of our moving consultants will provide an in-home estimate based on the inventory you need us to move. If you aren’t local or would feel more comfortable on Facetime, we can also do Facetime estimates. Alternatively, you can self-inventory the items in our customer portal and we will give you an estimate based on that!
